This Saturday: ORORO’s first appearance at NASCAR with Boyd!
Las Vegas, NV (October 22, 2019) - The 4th year anniversary celebrations are about to begin for ORORO as the brand prepares to make its first appearance at NASCAR this upcoming Saturday. After a few conversations, ORORO Heated Apparel has now partnered with the 24 year-old Spencer Boyd, who won his first NASCAR truck series race this past 12th of October at the Talladega Superspeedway.
“We finished 4th in Daytona in this truck and then one of my crew guys was like ‘you just won’ and I’m like ‘I can’t believe this’. I mean, two weeks ago I wasn’t running this race and we put this together,” said Boyd during an interview after winning the Talladega race. “I had no idea what to expect. You dream of winning a NASCAR race... Four years ago I was selling cars with my dad(...)”
His truck’s new ORORO sticker will be featured at the NASCAR Hall of Fame 200 that will take place this upcoming Saturday at the Martinsville Speedway in Virginia. “I like this race track a lot,” says Boyd. “I grew up racing on short tracks. I’ve got a new sponsor. There’s a win sticker on my truck. It’s going to be a great weekend in Martinsville, VA.”
The brand is happy to support Boyd during this endeavor. “We want to give Boyd that little extra ‘push’ that he needs to advance even further in his career. We know it’s tough out there and that additional support can make all the difference. Last year we launched a Kick-Starter campaign for the world’s first 3-in-1 heated gloves. We received a lot of support and this helped our business take a great leap. We’re grateful and now it’s our turn to help others in “kick-starting” their dreams. It’s his momentum. Let’s cheer for Boyd!” Mark H., Co-founder of ORORO.
